Country Towns Editorial

After a long drawn out thaw, spring has finally arrived on the prairies. Seeding is well underway and only the darkest ditches have signs of snow. We could use a few warm days though, cables and chains are still needed to pull the tractors out of the soft spots. The sign of spring at Country Towns are all the new listings, 21 new ones in the past 2 weeks, 16 of them in the past 2 days.

Country Towns Rural Saskatchewan Real Estate is quickly becoming a melting pot for FSBO's and Realtors. True its a bit fickle sometimes, but anyone having trouble can contact me for help getting their property online.

Investors watching the site are reminded we have a Wanted to Buy category they can post ads in as well. You have to register as a seller though, you can't post an add if you are just registered as a member. The member feature is just for signing up for updates.

I will be venturing around to some RM and Villages offices over the next two weeks looking for FSBO's and Tax Title sales. Anyone with special requests can email me at admin@countrytowns.ca or Tweet me at http://twitter.com/CountryTowns or post an ad under "Wanted to Buy" as I will take note of those before heading out.

For the rural Villages, Towns, Hamlets and Rural Municipalities, don't forget you can go to the Country Towns Prairiewiki Town Directory at http://www.countrytowns.ca/wiki and look up places by name for the population as well as locations (including Latitude and Longitude) and Google maps. The Town pages are a work in progress, so if the town you are looking up doesn't have all the info yet, don't hesitate to email me and I can bump that page to the top of the to do list for you.
